Kyle Pingleton of Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Broken Arrow Wins PerfectServe’s National ‘Nurses of Note’ Award
Director of Quality Management at Oklahoma facility recognized for Excellence in Nursing Leadership
BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma (June 18, 2025) – Kyle Pingleton, RN, Director of Quality Management at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Broken Arrow, was honored last month as a grand prize winner of PerfectServe’s national Nurses of Note Award in the category of Excellence in Nursing Leadership.
Pingleton was one of four grand prize winners for the fifth annual Nurses of Note awards, which recognize exceptional nurses who exemplify dedication, leadership, and compassion in their work, according to PerfectServe.
As Director of Quality Management, Pingleton develops and oversees operational strategies and processes for staff to deliver quality care to patients at Cornerstone Broken Arrow, a 23-bed specialty hospital that’s part of ScionHealth. He is a leader in Cornerstone Broken Arrow’s implementation of ScionHealth’s National Quality Strategy, which seeks to make its hospitals high-reliability providers while continuously improving patient care, safety and satisfaction.
In announcing the award, PerfectServe pointed to several of Pingleton’s recent accomplishments and initiatives that go above and beyond day-to-day patient care. Among them, Pingleton has led efforts to strengthen Cornerstone Broken Arrow’s organ and tissue donation program, and as Chair of the hospital’s Health Equity Committee, he has led projects to address food insecurity in the community and support mental health for the homeless. He also has supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s fight against breast cancer.
PerfectServe, which provides cloud-based clinical collaboration software and provider-scheduling solutions, established the Nurses of Note Awards program in 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic. The awards spotlight nurses who go above and beyond the call of duty to serve their patients, colleagues, and communities, according to PerfectServe.
“Nurses are the foundation of the care team, and our Nurses of Note program is a way to celebrate their incredible impact,” said PerfectServe Chief Customer Officer and Chief Clinical Officer Kelly Conklin, MSN, CENP. “These honorees embody the resilience, creativity, and unwavering dedication that define the nursing profession. We’re beyond proud to share their stories and honor their contributions.”
Pingleton has worked at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Broken Arrow since 2015, starting as a Patient Care Technician and Licensed Practical Nurse before finishing his nursing degree and steadily rising the ranks to leadership.
